Since Pathfinder 2e now has rules for 0 level adventurers, has someone found a good way to implement this in their campaign?
I'm about to start DM'ing Abomination Vaults (likely preceded by Menace Under Otari) and am leaning towards starting the characters at level 0, per the Variant Rules in the GM Mastery Guide, as an origin building mechanism.
It seems anyone who has actually experienced starting off their characters at level 0 has really enjoyed it, so I'm keen on giving this a try for my players.

Not 2e specifically, but do a search for Forged In Shadows by MDG.

Yeah, I would second that. If you want to start your characters at level 0, don't do it while also starting them jumping right in to a campaign designed for level 1 characters.
Instead you are going to want to create a level 0 prequel chapter full of social and skill encounters and other non-combat and role-play things, with maybe an easy combat encounter or two thrown in.

For Abomination Vaults, I'd use level zero to Get the party familiar with Otari and the NPCs in the town. Might be a chance to use some of the extra Otari-related content and NPCs Paizo published in the blog.
Mostly I'd run some chore-type tasks to help some of the NPCs to get to know them. For combat encounters, an unarmed bar fight is a great way to have one without getting the characters killed. Have them get hired by an NPC to get rid of a giant rat in their cellar. Mostly I look at playing at level zero as an extended live play session zero, and a great way to establish some of the lore before the main game gets started.

In the Beginner Box GM Guide, there's a section about Otari.
In fivr of the "Who's Who In Otari" entries, there are suggestions for how the PCs might be connected to the town
Lardus Longsaddle, Captain, Otari Guard
Fighters might have trained with the Otari Guard or aspired to join their ranks.
Yanyismera, Owner of Crook's Nook
She's also head of the Osprey Club, Otari's thieves guild.
Rogues from Otari might know Yanyismera or might even currently be in her employ.
Oloria Gallentine, Gallentine's Delivery
Oloria is a seventh-generation citizen of Otari and owner of the fastest and most reliable delivery service in the area.
She will pay heroes who seem trustworthy to deliver dangerous cargo to unusual locations.
Morlibint, Odd Stories
(See the above link for a blog post about Morlibint). He likes talking shop with other wizards.
And of course, Vandy Banderdash at the Dawnflower Library, is a good person for any adventurer to get to know.
