Slashing Grace feat

When I take this feat, I can treat one kind of light or one-handed slashing weapon as a one-handed piercing melee weapon and I can add your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier to that weapon's damage.
I thought I could add my Dexterity modifier instead of my Strength modifier to one-handed piercing melee weapon's damage.
Is this feat apply to one kind of light or one-handed slashing weapon only?

You are in the wrong forum, it looks like a PF1 issue.
Flagged to be moved.

Bidi is correct, you are in the wrong forum.

I will however attempt to answer your question.

Normally, you cannot add dexterity to weapon damage.
Unchained Rogue can. There are other options not jumping to mind I'm sure.

The default swashbuckler doesn't get dex to replace strength, but does get an ability to add level to damage to make up for dex focus over strength.

However, almost every swashbuckler built takes slashing grace or fencing grace to add dex to damage, so people are likely to forget it's not the default. I had to go and reread the class to realize it wasn't the default (unless I didn't read it clearly).

Anyways, slashing grace requires you to select one weapon type, which can be any light or one handed slashing weapon. The rules are a bit vague, but I believe it should be read as any light (slashing) or one-handed slashing weapon.
