How do low wisdom clerics do at higher levels?

I've seen a lot of people say that the best way to build a warpriest cleric is to dumb wisdom and focus on strength and charisma. I was wondering, how does that work at higher levels? Focusing just on buff spells, athletics (from what I can tell they will need to use athletics more than strikes at higher levels), and their divine font. Are the high level divine buff spells enough to make them useful at higher levels? Or are they going to feel that drop in wisdom as spellcasting gets stronger? How do low wisdom clerics do at higher levels?

Heroism is still good at level 6 and level 9. It really is very very strong. Healing in all its various forms still works. Foresight is great.
Utilities like AirWalk, Planeshift, Locate are good. True Seeing is still worth while even if your DC is not the best. There is still Summoning and Battle forms to consider.

You do loose about half your list in terms of usefulness, anything with a saving throw is marginal at best. But there is enough, especially if you have been smart with your choice of deity and picked up something with a few good spells that don't care about DC and scale well - like say Magic Missile, Wall of Force.

It works. I think battle clerics work well up to say level 12. After that they are just OK.

Here is my level 9 low wisdom warpriest in PFS.

They cast virtually no spells that rely on wisdom. They aren't the best at anything but their flexibility has been a boon in Pathfinder Society where you're frequently stuck with whatever random group happens to be mustered today.

In a group with strong Martials Sir Reinhart only makes the occasional strike, mostly focusing on buffing and otherwise healing or running interference/flanking etc for the other martials.

In a group that lacks tough melee fighters Sir Reinhard spends a lot of time in melee making strikes, raising their shield and keeping their HP up with things like 1 action heals.

Buffing yourself to try and catch up with the fighter isn't the way to go. Buff the fighter instead, attack some of the time and make sure to support your allies.

It's definitely ok, and making a good use of heroism ( as well as battle forms) will make the character competitive on the long run.

I'd go with a more balanced build though:

The standard is

16 str
10 dex ( bulwark from full plate)
14 con
14 wis
14 char

Increase always str, con, wis, char, and you are done.

Don't waste spells like heroism on martial characters or fighters, as the encounters can be win even with the warpriest buffing themselves ( and you'll enjoy it more).

I'd also consider a deity which gives truestrike if you want to go with some channel smite.

Iomedae is well rounded because of a good 1 handed weapon, might domain and true strike, making her one of the best choices for a tank warpriest.
