Say an investigator multiclasses into fighter and/or barbarian and they pick up swipe: If they Devise a Stratagem, does the roll work for both targets? Can you add Int for both targets since it's one roll?

Yeah, that should work fine mechanically. It's a tad weird thematically, but all the rules seem to support it working.

That's how it looked to me too but it felt a bit off so I wanted to ask in case I missed something.

PS: I see I posted this in the wrong place as I was asking a rules question. I'll flag it for being in the wrong place.

I could see it working thematically as well. Calculating the angles and stepping into just the right position to be able to strike two enemies doesn't seem all that different from setting yourself up to lay major hurting on just one, at least not to me.

LOL Yeah, for me the the thematic issue was fine [I can fluff it up easily enough]. It was just that it was kind of like 2 strikes that use one roll so it felt odd mechanically.

It looked too good to be true to me as well, but I think you simply found a really good combo. Nice work!
