Hello all!
So I'm currently in the giantslayer AP and we are running into some difficulty.
We have about 4k gold as a party and have access to buy some stuff. The part consists of a Magus Archer, Druid, Ranged Fighter, Ranged Ranger, Cavalier and an intimidate build slayer w/ a greatsword.... Other than some potions of grease to trip them up, is there any items like rope to trip or something to give us some tactical advantage over ogres and giants? Thank!

Giants have bad reflex saves and touch AC, but very good fortitude saves and CMD, so trip attacks are difficult.
Tanglefoot bags are perhaps a good option.
Effective use of terrain against large/huge creatures requires that you use maps and figures, which helps alot.
Reach weapons so you dont eat AOO to close in on a giant with natural reach.
And be extra carefull of the more intelligent giants!!! As a GM I would give them reach weapons and make trip, sunder and other maneuvers ad tactics.

I think a Buffering Cap is a good idea for a melee character, to guard against an unfortunate critical hit.
