Balanced Summoning
Benefit(s): You maintain balance by calling on opposing forces when summoning. Whenever you cast a summon monster spell, you can summon two creatures from a single list 1 or more levels lower than the level of the spell. The two creatures must have alignments that are opposite along at least one axis (chaotic and lawful or evil and good).
For example, if you cast summon monster III, you could summon a celestial wolf and a fiendish hyena from the 2nd-level list.
Negative ghostrider, you have to use a Summon Monster spell that is one level higher than the two creatures you're attempting to summon, and you can't use a 1st level spell to summon a zero-level monster (a zero-level summon list doesn't exist). But, you can totally do this once you're casting 2nd level spells to summon two 1st level monsters (such as a fiendish poisonous frog + celestial viper), or using a 3rd level spell to summon two 2nd level monsters (such as a fiendish wolf + celestial horse), etc.
I would take Balanced Summoning as a 3rd level or 5th level feat, if you take it at 1st level, it's not providing you any benefit until you get 2nd level spells.
