Advanced Undead Benefits for Skeleton's

From what I can see it is impossible for say a skeleton to get advanced undead benefits. So, despite all skeleton monsters having darkvision you can't have a PC skeleton with darkvision without using a hybrid heritage. Am I missing anything?

What do people think is a reasonable solution? Skeleton seems like a reasonably strong Ancestry (apart from the RP problems in some games) so I am not sure just giving them advanced undead benefits is the answer considering that it takes undead archetypes two generally subpar feats to get that. But equally not letting them get advanced undead benefits seems unreasonable. I was thinking that they get it once they have selected two skeleton ancestry feats is probably reasonable, but I would be interested to hear people's opinion.

I haven't read my BotD thoroughly yet, so I'm just going with a quick skim of the section, and I can't find any way for a skeleton PC to get them either

Until someone else finds where they hid it, maybe offer the adv. undead benefits as a Skeleton 5th or 9th level ancestry feat, depending on if you feel skeletons should be ahead or behind the other types of undead? Just the adv. benefits on their own though, no "in addition" line like the undead archetypes give along with their adv. benefits feats

You can get Darkvision by taking the Feral Child rare background as Basic Undead Benefits' Undead Vision gives low-light vision and the background says "You gain low-light vision (or darkvision if you already had low-light vision)".

No it is not available by default for a skeleton. You get low light vision from Basic Undead Benefits.

But there are so many ways of picking it up. The choice for you is how you choose to pay for it.
