How viable would a Barbarian 8 / Cavalier x character be?

Advice

I was thinking of how cool it would be to play a cavalier with a T-Rex or other dinosaur mount and 8 barbarian levels just to take the Ferocious Mount and Greater Ferocious Mount feats. This thought may have been a little bit inspired by Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal series. But anyway, how viable in terms of power would this build be? Would it be better for me to just take 4 levels of barbarian and ditch Greater Ferocious Mount? Or perhaps I should ditch the cavalier levels instead and try to convince my DM to give me a Ceratosaurus or Megaraptor once I reach higher levels...?
Edit: Ferocious Mount and Greater Ferocious Mount are rage powers, not feats.

Look at the mammoth rider prestige class.

Flag function seems broken but this should be 1e advice not 2e

And with that in mind, I'd say this build is down right impossible as long as it remains in PF2!

It's possible to make a 2e Barbarian with Cavalier archetype. It just isn't a very good idea since Command an Animal has the Concentrate trait and so doesn't work well while Raging.

But it won't be cavalier 8/barbarian X because that isn't how multiclassing works anymore. And cavalier isn't even a class. Which means I'm technically correct. The best kind of correct. :)

You shouldn't be so cavalier as bout these sorts of things.
