A lot of people use DIVINE FAVOUR as their swift-action buff with fervour (and a Pearl of Power will let you use this a few times per day for only a single spell-slot, which lets you prepare other spells). It's not strictly necessary, but it's a good straight numbers-buff pretty much all game long.
A lot of people also pair it with FATE'S FAVOURED for obvious reasons.
I prefer to use Divine Favour as a standard buff and use my sacred weapon buff when I need it to solve a problem (Fighting a Troll - Use fire). Sacred weapon is a versatile tool only until you use it for the first time each day. After that it's still a boost when you need it, but no longer a versatile one. It's most impactful when you need to overcome something specific.

oh oh. i got one for you.
beaming weapon special weapon ability, get it if you can. (it shoots at caster level 10 and as free action to boot)
specifically if you got sacred weapon to upgrade it for extra beams. more so if your'e a forgepriest and the weapon is something you crafted so it's sacred weapon is at +1 higher.
also if you took fate's favored trait, nabbing horseshoe of luck (or lucky horeshoe) is great for it's cost and stack with resistance cloak.
