Thaum should be the first class with it. It would greatly help our spells from scrolls and the wand. It wouldn't break the class either due to the limited nature of scrolls. Plus it would give them more of a slightly unique hook.

If I recall some people suggested this for the Inventor as well. I don't think it made the final cut but I would be happy to see it happen

There could be hidden repercussions since Dedications (often through other classes) may give access to abilities based on one's class DC, and not necessarily the class that gave you the ability though that's the usual.

Not game-breaking, but still an anomaly.

That said, if a Thaumaturge needs to overcome Saves as well as any full caster, they likely would need Legendary to match DCs (or a compensating strength to account for the lower save).

I wouldn't give to it.

Instead, I'd give each character that doesn't hit legendary a lvl 20 feat which gives legendary class DC.

They can choose Whether to take it or not.

I actually like the class feat idea; that feels like a great capatone for people who might not the "permaquickened" option, but still want a passive buff
