Help me create Tyrael from the Diablo series in Pathfinder 1e

Because Diablo 2 Resurrected drops this month I wanted to create one of my favorite characters in Pathfinder. What do you guys and gals think would be the best class/builds?

I was thinking about just going straight Paladin but I'm also still learning the game so maybe we can come up with something cool in terms of multiclassing and races.

Aasimar(Angelkin) would fit. +2 Str/Cha which works nicely with Paladin. Though that might be more after he rips off his wings. Aasimar do have a feat to gain wings though at 10.

I don't remember D2 very well, but I don't think we actually have much reference of what Tyreal can do, combat-wise. He has a sword, and wing-like-objects... so basically you imagination's the limit.

However, he does resurrect your mercenaries in D2, so probably take Ultimate Mercy if you are going the Paladin route. Oath against Fiends would certainly be on point. Maybe Celestial Obedience for Ragathiel and prestige Crimson Templar? Though the fiery wings feels more like Urzael in D3.

I would avoid using Paladin as a chassis, at all costs...

Honestly, having just played around with it a little bit, I would try an Aether Kineticist... angelic force tendrils, and all. Sure, be an Aasimar, take the Wings feats... but, as always, screw being a Paladin...

I say be a Paladin. Mindsword Paladin with all the Aasimar goodness.

Why Mindsword Paladin...think of all the cinematics where Tyrael throws his sword. Can you say bullet time sword in your face!

I assume you mean a Tyrael inspired character as Tyrael, before he falls, is way too powerful an archangel to be replicated as a PC.

Going with Angelkin Assimar is probably good. If you really want to stress the angelic nature of the character you can use the racial feats others have suggested already.

As for class I would recommend the Warpriest instead of the Paladin. If you go Champion of the Faith instead of vanilla Warpriest you get smite evil at the cost of your AOE channel (which frankly is a great tradeoff) and get a much higher ability to buff yourself and more clerical spell power.

You can uses your classes bonus Combat Feats on the Vital Strike line with power attack and furious focus and you can stay VERY good in melee until you can get your second attacks.
