I apologize but after trying to go through as many threads about the sysnthesist I have been unable to determine something.
I know that an eidolon does NOT get any benfit from healing as they are "temporary" HP and can only be replenished through the rejuvenate eidolon spells or life link abilities.
My question is about the summoner within ... does a summoner while fused get hit point healing when subject to positive channeling? cure spells I image wouldn't work as you cannot target the summoner individually but channels don't really target but instead heal everything within its radius.

If the synthesist is injured in terms of missing their own HP, not the eidolons then channeling could heal that. The targeting prevents you from targeting just the summoner or just the eidolon, you get both of them - cure spells should work too, as would hostile spells like hold person.
Channeling & cures can't fix missing temp HP on a synthesist OTOH. For those you need rejuvenate eidolon not because of a targeting issue but because they just don't affect temp HP.

third paragraph
...While fused, the synthesist loses the benefits of his armor. He counts as both his original type and as an outsider for any effect related to type, whichever is worse for the synthesist. Spells such as banishment or dismissal work normally on the eidolon, but the synthesist is unaffected. Neither the synthesist nor his eidolon can be targeted separately, as they are fused into one creature. The synthesist and eidolon cannot take separate actions. While fused with his eidolon, the synthesist can use all of his own abilities and gear, except for his armor. In all other cases, this ability functions as the summoner’s normal eidolon ability (for example, the synthesist cannot use his summon monster ability while the eidolon is present). {bolding - ed}
The Eidolon temp HPs stack onto the casters HP but don't heal the same. The caster's temp HPs (below Max HP) and HPs heal when he's healed/cured.

Yes.
The only thing in existance that can re-fill the temporary HP pool is the Rejuvenate Eidolon line of spells. A fused Synthesist can still gain other temporary HP, e.g. from Aid, of course. The fused entity's regular HP can be healed as normal, although they can only be below full if either the Summoner had less-than-full HP when fusing, or if he's used the Fuse Link ability.
