Does the arcane enlightenment hex work for spirit guide oracle?

Silver Crusade

pretty much the title. I've seen people arguing for both ends some say it does work, others say it does nothing, so I'd like someone to clarify it for me.

Arcane Enlightenment - Shaman Lore Hex wrote:
Arcane Enlightenment (Su): The shaman’s native intelligence grants her the ability to tap into arcane lore. The shaman can add a number of spells from the sorcerer/wizard spell list equal to her Charisma modifier (minimum 1) to the list of shaman spells she can prepare. To cast these spells she must have an Intelligence score equal to at least 10 + the spell’s level, but the saving throw DCs of these spells are based on her Wisdom rather than Intelligence. When she casts these spells, they are treated as divine rather than arcane. Each time the shaman gains a level after taking this hex, she can choose to replace one of these spells for a new spell on the wizard/sorcerer spell list.

As a spontaneous caster (Oracle) you don't prepare spells. You only have spells known. Arcane Enlightenment does nothing unless you prepare spells.

Also, this is covered in the FAQ for Advanced Class Guide.

Spirit Guide is a great archetype, but some abilities just didn't survive the 'From Oracle Revelation to Shaman Hex back to Oracle Revelation' journey.

The one use I made of this hex was when my GM allowed me to freely use a wand of the selected spell (We had a level 5 Magic Missile wand and my oracle was the only caster in the party): This is not an official rule, but it seemed a reasonable interpretation.
