So with Undersize Mount Feat you can ride a mount your size or larger. The question is this. Cavalier's and classes that get a mount that are specific what they can take can they now take a mount from the small list. Example a Cavalier has to take a Camel or Horse he then takes the Undersize Mount Feat could he then trade that horse or camel in for say a Boar or pony or wolf. In this case a Boar for a dwarf character

If you want to be literal about it, then the cavalier has to select from the list of animals specific to his size. Nothing in the undersize mount feat changes the class list.
If I'm the GM and the player of a medium PC (a dwarf) takes undersize mount as his first level feat, I'd let him pick from the list of mounts available to small PCs as well. I'd be a little more choosy if it was a small PC to start with, since I would have to decide what animals would be appropriate for a cavalier. If he's not first level I would let him change to a new undersized mount but
This new mount does not gain the link, evasion, devotion, or improved evasion special abilities until the next time the cavalier gains a level.

Technically no. The class specific mount lists only care what size you are, not what you can ride. And Undersized Mount only changes what you can ride.
But if I was GMing I'd allow it as a houserule.
Important to note, is that the Beast Rider archetype is a little different. In one place it says "The animal chosen as a mount must be large enough to carry the beast rider (Medium or Large for a Small character; Large or Huge for a Medium character).", but then in a latter point it breaks it down by size again. At Beast Rider 7 you can choose any Large or Huge animal as long as it has a medium sized Animal Companion version. Dire Boar might not qualify as "boar", but ask GM.
