Switching between Field-Commissioned Agent and School

Rules Discussion

I am not seeing anything saying I can, or can't, just switch from school, to Field-Commissioned Agent.

Currently I am planning on switching from school, to FCA, for a few campaigns, and then back again.

So can anyone tell me where it says one way or the other?
I have asked a couple of GMs so far and they didn't know of any rule to stop it and were fine with it.

are you above second level?

I seriously doubt Paizo intended for this feature to be a free switch between scenarios. It would not make sense that you could change that setting without some kind of mechanical retraining. I know I would not allow it at my table and I would strongly recommend you not do it until there is an official response from the Paizo OP team.

Umm, the answer is in the guide to organized play...

You can also retrain your Pathfinder training —that is, your selection between Spells, Scrolls, Swords, or field-commissioned agent. Doing so takes 14 days of Downtime, during which you adjust your level of affiliation with these aspects of the Pathfinder Society

Yep, that is what I am doing doing cause I don't see any other restrictions.

Thanks for the responses.

And I've asked about exactly how the accounting works, assuming you start the process on one chronicle as a school affiliated agent.

Chronicle 1: 8 Days retraining
Chronicle 2: 6 days retraining, 2 days remaining, those two days get boosted by 50%, so 3 days worth of downtime post retraining left to spend.

I guess so? I am new my self and just trying to figure it out.

And I keep misreading stuff, or missing something.
Makes me saddened.

I had switched factions so I could get the Off-Hours Study boon, because I read it as, I could use downtime to train untrained skills. or common languages.

What it says is, "When you acquire this boon, choose a common language you don’t know or a Lore skill in which you are untrained."

Can train lore skills, not just any untrained skill. :(
