I was listening to a POD cast the other day and they mentioned that all teleportation effects do not provoke and AOO. Reading I wonder..
Reading Teleportation It reads
"Teleportation does not usually trigger reactions based on movement."
but wouldn't the casting of Dimension Door provoke since is has a somatic and gains the Manipulate??
Attack of Opportunity requirements state
"A creature within your reach uses a manipulate action or a move action, makes a ranged attack, or leaves a square during a move action it’s using."
Am I wrong?maybe I am not apply the tags correctly

The important part of your first quote is:
"Teleportation does not usually trigger reactions based on movement."
And that's right, you're not provoking from the movement involved in teleporting.
You're provoking from the act of casting a spell. While the spell is what grants you that teleportation movement, casting it is separate and distinct.
You have to remember that there are many things that might teleport and they're all going to refer to that teleportation rule. But not all of them are going to be spell casting (although that's typically an NPC thing).

Basically this means that teleporting next to someone doesn't provoke. So being under the influence of Blink for instance doesn't mean that someone gets to AoO you each turn you blink into/out of an adjacent space. This makes Blink a decent escape vector if it's already up, because you can sustain the spell to move 10 feet in a random direction. Sustaining doesn't provoke.
Pretty much all of the the other teleportation abilities I could find have Somatic components though, and Blink does in it's initial cast, or if they are an item based ability require interact (manipulate) actions to activate. So they virtually all will provoke reactions that trigger on manipulate actions.

What a hero needs is Distuptive stance.
Nobody is going to teleport away from you ( unless you already expended your reaction/s).
