The most recent previous thread on this problem was back in 2017, so I think I've got a new problem.
In two forums, Play-By-Post and Play-By-Post-Discussions, I have hidden all threads that have had activity since Dec 31, with three exceptions.
The three threads that I expect to see when I navigate to those forums are
Discussion Forum
a) GM Omelas' Extinction Curse — Discussion
Gameplay forum
b) GM Omelas' Extinction Curse — Gameplay
c) The Last King of Ireland
This weekend I have repeatedly hidden early January posts, refreshed the page to make sure they are indeed not visible, and then later gone back to the forum page and found them visible again.
Here are the posts that have most recently reappeared in the Discussion forum. These campaigns are all marked as "Inactive".

This post and the original post were made using Firefox 87.0 on a Win10 OS.
About 30 minutes ago, I used an Android tablet to hide the threads listed above in the first post. They are all now visible, along with the newly visible posts.
In all cases the threads that I am trying to hide have the latest post in the thread somewhere between Jan 1 and Jan 4, 2021. As are the newly zombied posts that have re-appeared in the past few hours.
What can I do to keep these buried corpses in the ground?
I'm seeing a pattern:
I can 'hide' posts and refresh the page, and they are not visible. But the next day, not only are the hidden posts visible, there are new posts that weren't visible the day before.
Every day, new posts resurrect themselves. The pattern seems to be that on April 6, the newly visible posts are from Jan 6. Same for April 7, and April 8
It's as if you cannot actually hide any posts that are older than 3 months.
