I really want to make an ancient scale azarketi because they are boss looking, but I don't want to suffocate...

Man... You can build a very expensive character by putting a versatile heritage on top of one of the rare ancestries, adding some uncommon spells, and getting them adopted by leshies.

(Or someone else could...)

Hmm

The boon that unlocks azarketi provides rules for how to cope with that;

- You start the scenario having just taken a bath
- You'll want to bathe daily
- In an environment without easily available water you can either bring some water creation method (decanter..), carry 6 bulk of water (bag of holding..) or use Survival to Subsist (DCs on page 240).

Overall I think the bag of holding solution is probably the easiest. Gonna set you back a bit but then it's DONE.

Wow, I didn't expect these boons to be available this quickly -- great job by the Org Play team!

However, I notice that there's no "Adopted Ancestry II" boon... (the first one allowed you to take Adopted Ancestry with the Uncommon races from the Lost Omens Character Guide).

I hope this is a simple oversight, because I was planning on making my fledgling shadow sorcerer extra gloomy by taking some fetchling feats once he gets to 5th level.

Creating the Adopted Ancestry II (and other boons in its category) will be a LOT of work for the Org Play Leadership Team. I don't know if you read Adopted Ancestry I, but it curated what feats you could choose from your ancestry. They chose specific ones that have nothing to do with physiology. Because it lists specific feats, this means that you cannot get any of the new hobgoblin, leshy or lizardfolk feats from the Ancestry guide -- even if your adopted Iruxi parents taught you to be an Astrologer!

Here is the text of Adopted Ancestry I:

Ancestral Adoption I

Ancestral Adoption (Slotless): Whether you grew up with an unlikely family or have since been adopted into an uncommon culture, you have a powerful connection to an uncommon ancestry’s techniques. When you gain the Adopted Ancestry feat (Pathfinder Core Rulebook 258), you can choose either hobgoblin, leshy, or lizardfolk in place of a common ancestry. The following are the ancestry feats you can select from these three options.

Hobgoblin: Agonizing Rebuke, Alchemical Scholar, Expert Drill Sergeant, Hobgoblin Lore, Hobgoblin Weapon Discipline, Hobgoblin Weapon Expertise, Hobgoblin Weapon Familiarity, Leech-Clipper, Pride in Arms, Remorseless Lash

Leshy: Bark and Tendril, Harmlessly Cute, Leshy Lore, Leshy Superstition, Lucky Keepsake, Shadow of the Wilds, Undaunted

Lizardfolk: Lizardfolk Lore, Marsh Runner, Reptile Speaker, Terrain Advantage

Oh, thanks a lot for the info! The text wasn't included in the PFS FAQ, so I just assumed it gave access to most feats - if not all - from those ancestries.

That is quite a bit of content to go through and evaluate, I agree. I might just shelve my character for a bit once he gets to 5th level, just to see if that boon line gets updated.

I repasted it because I figure that most people have not seen the text of the boon. I bought it for my gnome who has been adopted by hobgoblins and is a true child of Oprak, and I am glad that I did.

But if I were looking for one of the leshy feats for my vine-covered character, I would have been unhappy to discover that all the leshy feats that I really wanted had been excluded. I do wish there was a way of previewing the boons somehow.

Hmm
