So this question was put to me and in a way I've been a little curious about the out come of it. I just want to make sure I can answer this right for the right players when they ask.
If a Chronicle sheet from an Adventure path says "You gain access to: <Insert Spell, Item, etc>" but does not say for a specifically the character it is assigned to.. then do you have access to it with others?
If a Chronicle Sheet gave you access to a particular kind of Animal Companion, does that mean you can give it to anyone of your other Character that it isn't assigned to?
Same time, if a Chronicle sheet says gives access to an Archetype, is it only for the character the Chronicle is assigned to or for ALL of your Characters for a potential?

Unless it says otherwise, it's only for the character that gets the chronicle. Do note that AP chronicles can be applied to characters of any level, so you could apply it to a new level 1 character to take full advantage of a new option, if you wanted.
Hi Alex, since you're here, please consider for future AP chronicles that many options presented in a given module don't actually make sense on the same character. I understand not wanting items unlocked for every PC, but as it stands, the way it's been so far done results in PCs who unlock options and then can't realistically ever use them.
At minimum please consider unlocking some of these options eventually via ACP (maybe even for players who can't do the AP).

Extinction Curse 1 unlocks access to wildly different things, and about enough options to outfit three or four characters. So you end up with the majority of the cool stuff being unable to be used because no single character can make use of all of that. Which is disappointing.
I mean, on the whole I'm very on board with the idea of not giving every character access to everything from every AP like we did in PFS1. But I think here the pendulum has swung too far in the other direction.

I definitely think there's room for an AcP boon to transfer an unused, single use option from one character to another. Especially in regards to some of the more kitchen sink AP chronicles.

After some further thought, I do have a similar critique to that of the OP.

This isn't actually possible now, with Boons going online, since you can't see what you're getting until after the session has been reported and the character number assigned.
You're basically stuck applying Chronicles blind.

I though AP boons were still on the chronicle?
Just checked. At least for extinction curse, the boons are still listed on the chronicle.
