Aasimar Dhampir?

Advice

I've been looking through the available races and I have found 2 that are essentially mixed races that can combine with other races.
Aasimar are half angels with the other half usually elves or humans, but not limited to those two.
Dhampir are the same, with a Vampire infecting a pregnant woman of another race (depending on which lore you go with)

So, would an Aasimar Dhampir work? Is there anything that would keep them from working out?

I'm going to bring this idea to my GM next Saturday and would love some opinions and advice on making it work and making it presentable.

Aasimar are not half angel that would be a human with the half celestial template. An Aasimar is a human with significant amounts of celestial or other good outsider blood in their ancestry. It often skips multiple generations, and often the parents of an Aasimar are two normal seeming humans. This suggests that the factors that make one an Aasimar are a recessive trait.

Damphir on the other hand are not so much a race as unique individuals born to woman somehow tainted by vampires. Any children of a Dhampir are always human. A significant number of them end up being undead bloodline sorcerers.

Since a vampire can only convert a creature of its own type it stands to reason that they would be unable to taint a creature of a different type. Aasimar are not humanoid they are native outsiders so a standard vampire would not be able to affect an Aasimar. In theory you could have a native outsider vampire and it may be able to taint an Aasimar child while in the womb. This seems highly unlikely to happen.

To be honest, I wouldn't give it a hard no because magic genetic shenanigans are everywhere. Mechanically, you'd probably have to do something like take an aasimar with scion of humanity then burn a feat on racial heritage: dhampir.

Bastards of Golarion makes mixed races officially an option. Spend about half of your race points (see Advanced Race Guide) on aasimar racial traits, and the rest on dhampir ones. Depending on what your base race is, it's 15 points (aasimar, slightly over the norm of CRB races) or 11 (dhampir, in line with CRB races). The GM is supposed to judge whether the new race is ok for their campaign.

Personally I'd try to keep a (mostly) unique trait from each race, like the daylight SLA and the negative energy affinity. It might be tempting to tailor the mixed race towards more power - up to your GM whether they accept that.
