Trying really hard not to use the "G-word" here, don't want to offend any Romani, and I honestly don't know enough between the varying uses of upper and lower case versions of the word to know what's safe... or if any use of the "G-word" is safe to use at all.
Now that that's out of the way, there is a certain image/vibe that I am trying to capture. Forgive me if this image is based on "G-word" stereotypes displayed in television/movies, but the eccentric nomadic carnival culture with its colorful fashion, tattoos, gang/cult mannerisms, I want all of it... or as much of it as I can get using the Fortune-Teller Bard archetype as the main chassis.
Which archetypes can I stack up to further this theme?
Fortune-Teller replaces:
Countersong
Distraction
Well-Versed
Dirge of Doom
I am thinking Sandman might fit well, adding a certain amount of creepy mystery, but I don't have a whole lot of experience with Bards outside of the Arcane Duelist archetype... which this is about as far from how I want this Fortune-Teller as you can get it.
Not going to waste a bunch of feats on combat, and don't have a whole lot of feats left for magics after VMC Sorcerer for the Harrowed Bloodline. More flavor than anything powerful or optimal. This is going to be a friendly (or at least neutral) NPC, so giving up Inspire Courage is almost requested... don't want the party dragging this NPC into places she doesn't belong just to get some buffs out of her.
And there is already an Arcane Healer-Geisha VMC Monk (tea ceremonies and the tea of transference, it makes sense), so the Fortune-Teller need not worry herself with any sort of focus on healing. The Geisha can pretty much turn Ki into scrolls, so the Fortune-Teller doesn't have to worry about that, either.
Ideas?

you might want to pick a look at the harrower prestige class. though it will effect your bard's non-casting class abilities.

I like it!
Fortune-Teller is done replacing things at level 8, so 10 levels of Bard and 10 levels of Harrower would have a +12 BAB, base saves of +6/+10/+12, and CL 20. The DC for the 8th level Fortune-Teller ability would be 15+CHA, which is going to have to work if she ever wants to use it. VMC still carries through, even gives access to Harrowed as a Bloodline Feat at 11... which technically is out of order for entering the PrC at the same level, but she is an NPC and I just don't care.
The fact that the Bloodline I already chose for VMC provides the prerequisite feat for the prestige class is too good to pass up. Let the lawyers cry themselves to sleep about the order of operations.
Thank you for showing me this...

just one more trick id like to add, since the character should have more fortune then others. if you got room in the traits pick up the fortunate trait. it works very well with the harrower. (with reading the signs when drawing cards while casting he can roll twice, this is beside drawing the extra card...)
"looks like Lady luck smiles on me again..."
also as i mentioned in a different thread (do read it if you plan on using them all). these can be freaking broken when combined with the silent aviary deck (which is a craftable variation of an artifact..).
at least for a player character. as npc he might make a very interesting influential person. should the characters get a chance to draw from his deck - would they dare?
-i find it very G- like, offering them as a quest reward the honor to draw the daily card from his deck- once, with all that comes with it, they might get all they wished for, they might be sorry they ever woke up that day...

Is there a way to get Plane Shift on the Bard list? Like actually on her list, in the name of being self-sufficient, rather than relying on an item.
Looks like the only way out of the Cage card for a Bard is a Forked Rod...? Bracers of Antiquity?
Not actually sure how staves work, but possibly the Spherewalker Staff or the Staff of Planes.
Planar Keystone or the Robe of Stars could work, too... and will probably have to be good enough. I just don't see a way to add the spell to her list without changing archetypes or VMC Bloodlines.

There kind of is, but you likely don't want to dip a couple of levels into pathfinder savant.
If you use a staff then you'll need to make a DC 20 UMD check for a spell off your list each time you cast plane shift from it, and you'll need a spell slot at least equal to the highest level spell stored in the staff in order to recharge it.

Wouldn't she have to make sure to have the staff in hand every time she drew a card from the deck?
It's not really an issue, she is just an NPC. And she could probably keep the staff or forked rod or whatever in her personal Harrowed Home.
The door to her personal mage's magnificent mansion cannot be moved, so it would open right back into the Cage... but she could walk in, grab her staff or whatever, come back out into the Cage, and Plane Shift out...

some races get planeshift as a sla( in racial ability or alt racial ability or as a feat).
some only to specific planes and back to material, but can still be good to jump to that plane from cage and after that to prime material plane.
to be truthful my original character was a wizard, since i also wanted teleport, to get to the right location AFTER planeshifting.
