Any luck we will get the Black Bladed Magus archetype?

Idea for a black bladed magus.. We get a familiar, but our familiar is our sword and it starts off with the telepathy evolution.

That is probably too soon to focus on that.
Since, plus with the intelligent items and relics rule you could already create a black blade with your DM. Maybe later down the line we'll get it as a specific archetype but for now we should rather focus on the core class xD

I hope so, I even made a topic about the subject some time ago appealing to make the Black Blade features available through an Archetype that can be taken by other Classes instead of JUST being in the Magus/Arcanist wheelhouse.

This is what I'm rooting for as well, a Bladebound or Weaponbound archetype rather than something specific to the magus. "Person with bonded, talking weapon" is a broad enough concept it could apply to a host of different character classes.

As Kalaam mentioned, we already have rules for Intelligent Items & Relics, which I kinda feel is meant to give a similar feel to the Black Blade without making it a class-limited feature.

I don't see anything wrong with just having an archetype that gives you a familiar that's a sword instead of a critter.

Heck, maybe it could be done just with the specific familiar rules.
