With knowledge that both an ancestry guide and the Mwangi Expanse are coming with at least 3 new ancestries, I want to know what kind of new ancestries people are thinking about. Not necessarily what you think ARE going to be in, just what you'd like or would stand out.
I hope this thread doesn't become a list of animals, though. I like animals and the xfolk ancestries, but that seems too easy to just go, "Yo, give me squirrels".
I would like quadrupeds that change their movement based on what they're holding in their hands (which could be squirrels).

I have allowed an ogre into my Pathfinder 1e Skull and Shackles game, and have put some thought into the ogre as an ancestry, should I ever convince my players to convert to 2nd edition.
For heritages, you can have cannibal ogres, stalker ogres, ogrekin, oniblood, merrowblood.
For feats you would add some bite and swallow feats for the glutton ogres, stealth feats for the stalker ogres, and some feats that add extra toughness and brutal strength for all ogres. Oniblood would get some oni magic, merrowblood some swimming and water breathing feats.

I want a "Powerful Ancestries" book with something like ancestry feats that can be bought with class feats only. Of the powerful ancestries I *really* want included:
Dragons
Vampires
Giants
Powerful fey royalty
Constructs
Phoenix
etc
For more standard ancestries, I'd definitely like to see Svartalfar

Fun Fact: my setting converts Orcs into the "Onika, people of the Oni" who worship Pathfinder Oni Spirits, and fulfill the anime-style Oni-As-Fantasy-Race thing. It works super well, I reflavored the heritages a bit, homebrewed an advanced Orc-traited variant of a Greatclub (if I'm not mistaken, its been a bit, one of my players has one) to represent a Tetsubo (it is advanced, and adds the deadly trait.)
