Gloomblade, the Fighter archetype, can make Shadow Weapons (weapons of ribbons of shadow, in any melee weapon they are proficient in) as a MOVE ACTION. It came up in combat when I was attempting to shift to a different weapon to strike someone around a corner whether or not this ability provokes an Attack of Opportunity. According to PFSRD, the Shadow Weapon operates as follows:

Shadow Weapon (Su)
A gloomblade can create a shadowy weapon in a free hand as a move action. This can take the form of any melee weapon with which he is proficient. A gloomblade can have only one shadow weapon in existence at a time; creating a new shadow weapon causes an existing shadow weapon to vanish.

Though it's not explicitly stated, would making a weapon Vanish, then another instantly appear in your hands, standing still, provoke an Attack of Opportunity?

No. (Su) abilities don't provoke AoOs by default, see the Actions in Combat table in the core rulebook.

just like to point out ,since the old weapon vanish when a new one is summoned, you don't need to make an action to vanish the old one. (might need to drop it as free action)
