This just guarantees that the pool of play testers will be significantly smaller than it could have been and the rules being tested will get little to no exposure to the nuances of org play that could impact the final versions. Disappointing is softest way to describe the reaction, but it seems to be increasing in frequency.

Based on James’s response, I wouldn’t expect PFS to allow any future playtesting. The goal of any playtest is to push the rules to 11, and if they feel that isn’t right for PFS play(and I can see their perspective), then it seems they will remain incompatible.
