Yuki will touch one of her tails to Gareau's wound, a cold frosty sensation courses through it and it begins to mend.
CLW: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
then he moves up towards the guards.
Oxnard Kettlebeak

Gareau loads and shoots again.
Ranged Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Damage: 1d8 + 0 ⇒ (1) + 0 = 1
Lief Stoutspear
Lief takes a deep breath and focuses on his family's totem: the powerful and deadly bear. Repeating the technique his father had made him drill so many times, he calls for the bear spirit to give him strength and, for the first time, it answers. His hands become paw-like and his muscles swell as he embodies its power. Then he raises his sword and hacks at the guard to his right again. swift action to activate shifter's blessing (+4 Str, 20' move, 5 rounds) and standard to attack
greatsword (sb): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22
for: 2d6 + 13 ⇒ (4, 6) + 13 = 23
Assuming that drops him, Lief then steps over to where the guard had been standing. 5' step forward (towards the captain) and to my right (away from green) to get a clear charging lane for next round.
Yuki Hanako
Yuki attempts to distract the remaining guard near her.
aid another: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 7 + 2 = 22 vs AC 10, if a "hit" give an ally +2 to hit on their next attack roll.
Oxnard Kettlebeak

Yuki aids.
Lief chops down the last guard, leaving only the sergeant, and Troy moves forward.
The sergeant flees! (withdraws)
Turn order:
1. Troy
2. Soldiers
3. Sergeant Volan Sertane
4. Gareau
5. Kolaach
6. Yuki
7. Lief
Status:
Gareau: 16/17
Yuki: 18/25
Voolk: 12/20
Kolaach: 23/31
That brings up everyone again
Lief Stoutspear
"Surround him so he can't escape," Lief calls out as he runs after the sergeant.
I'll straight-line run after him. If Voolk can get past him and slow him down (or even trip him) I can hopefully charge him next round.
Troy Gol
Troy again reloads his crossbow and shoots at the fleeing soldier.
Light Crossbow: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 251d8 ⇒ 5
CRIT? Light Crossbow: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 111d8 ⇒ 6
Oxnard Kettlebeak
Troy misses as Lief chases after him.
Pending Gareau, Kolaach, and Yuki
Oxnard Kettlebeak
ha! Idk why I read that as a 6! It hits I’ll have to check his HP when I get to my computer
Doctor Gareau
Gareau also fires a bolt in the fleeing soldier's direction.
Ranged Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Damage: 1d8 + 0 ⇒ (7) + 0 = 7
Nathanael Love
With several arrows sticking out of him, he continues to run. At this point since he wolf didn't give chase he gets away
End of combat
"Thank you for saving me," Nadya say, "Let him run- we know where he is going- to the Pale Tower. I can lead you there, so that you might avenge my daughter on the White Witch. But before you go, we should talk to Hatch, he is a domerovei who lives in my house."
I think this is like a house elf?
Doctor Gareau
"Clearly, they will know about us now. Thet probably will expect us coming. Let's talk to this Hatch, and then form a gameplan, shall we? And maybe some tea?"
Doctor Gareau
