Hello my wise friends! Once again I climb into the mountains for advice. In exchange for a free dedication feat I have roll my character's ancestry and class randomly and used the deep background rules. I've ended up with a leshy monk ... hah guess I deserve it. I'm having a hard time finding an optimized build, I need your help, the most logical thing for me would be to use the bow stance but I have a lot of cool ideas of melee interpretation, maybe take root in the ground in a super cool mountain stance or go crazy with crane stance and float through the air. I've never played a monk and I literally have no idea how to optimize it also the guides i've found are previous to APG. The campaign is a megadungeon and I need this little one to hit it right. Can you please help me? Thnks a lot! You guys are great

Well, firstly, you lucked out in terms of power level, Leshy Monk is actually a really optimal combination (bonuses to Con and Wis are sweet, and a penalty to Int is not something Monks care about mechanically).
As for what option to go with, that's up to you. Most of the ideas you had sound good mechanically, though the archer one specifically doesn't take advantage of the Leshy Seedpods, which are a neat option for Leshy Monks as that Feat provides a ranged unarmed attack and thus a ranged attack you can flurry with without the need for special Feats. But there are certainly other good Leshy Feats for an archery user. Leshy Seedpods also doesn't work super well with Mountain Stance since you can't use it while in a Stance...that's not a problem for a lot of Stances but trying to go without Mountain Stance's AC buff is a bad idea...but again, that's one Ancestry Feat, so that build too can just take another one.
But really, it's a question of what you want to play. There are pretty optimal builds for, I think, all the options you list as well as many others.

I'm suddenly a lot more excited about the character! Do you think I could get something interesting with leaf leshy, crane stance, quick jump to maybe easily reach the casters ... the idea of jumping into the void with a magician in my arms makes me pollinate

I suggest you head over to the 101 Monk Bulds thread, specifically Build 76: Avatar of Nature since it's Leshy focused. However there are a lot of other builds that don't depend on specific ancestries that can provide ideas/guidance.

Great! thanks!!!

Mountain stance can be very useful. The removal of the str/dex competition means you could grab another stat. My suggestion is charisma.
There are various combat related builds focusing on cha skills. Additionally, it can work well with your race, since you can take the feat harmlessly cute (which lets you safely use diplomacy to try to request for pretty much ANYTHING; you are just too cute to be mad at).

have you checked any of the builds in the 101 monk builds thread Edit - i see i'm not the first to suggest this.
Not sure if there's anything Leshy specific but almost all of them can be adapted just fine.
Archery is one possibility but if you could do something like
1. ki strike
2. stunning fist
4. stand still
6. abundant step
8. Tangled Forest Stance
10. wind jump
12. meditative focus
14. disrupt ki
16. quivering palm
18. diamond fists
20. ki form/meditative wellspring
Early on you'd get most of your damage from Ki Strike, then getting forest stance just seems to fit for a leshy. Everything past 8 is kinda up to how you want to play it.
Or be a Death Mushroom and go
14/18/14/8/14/10
1. Wolf Stance
2. Stunning Fist
4. Stand Still
5. Ritual Reversion
6. Wolf Drag
8. Assassin Dedication
10. Sneak Attacker
Nobody suspects the mushroom in the corner!

Hello friends! I will use this same thread for my questions. My man is already almost level 3, thank you very much for your help, I love the character and he is doing very well. I have chosen the druid dedication for the animal forms with those nice speeds (climbbbb) and all the flavor of the pest form combined with my leaf leshy, i think it will be very versatile as a spy, lvl 4 will be beautiful. As always i really appreciate your advice!
I want to know your opinion on assurance and the general feat at level 3. I would also like to make sure that I am not making a mistake with produce flame. Finally the character has ended like this:
Leshy, Monk, STR 16 CON 10 DEX 18 WIS 14 INT 10 CHAR 8 (with voluntary flaw)
Ancestry Feat: Seedpood
Heritage: Leaf Leshy (this a big dungeon with A LOT of falls and levels and walls)
LVL 1: Ki strike
LVL 2: Free archetype Druid (cantrips Ray of frost and Produce Flame)
Stunning Fist
Skill Feat: Assurance Athletics.
CA 22 with shield raised.
Is it worth putting assurance in atletics for trip?
Do you think the best option for general feat a lvl 3 is shield block or can you think of something better?
My biggest question is with Produce Flame. If i understood correctly, with 2 actions i can hit unarmed and add 1d4 fire to my damage 1d6 + 3 +1d4. I want to be sure of this, i know that i can't do it as part of a flurry and I can't do it with Ki strike. Is that correct?
Thnks!!!!

I am rather fond of it. Monks often have actions left after flurrying and ignoring MAP is handy. It does call for a little bit of awareness of relative levels and what the good save on a creature most likely is, so its strategic value is tied to how well you can read those things. But it also comes in handy for the occasional climb check and stuff. Out of combat, Assurance Athletics might as well be a climb speed much of the time.

If you finding yourself raising a shield very often in combat, it is a great choice, sure. As a high mobility class with a ranged attack I'm not sure how often you are doing that, but that's kind of a play style thing.

This is wrong. Produce Flame can be used as a melee attack, but it doesn't combine with a a Strike. It does the same damage in melee or range. As such, I'd recommend trading it in for Electric Arc, which will ignore the MAP on your flurry. Ray of frost remains a good choice as a ranged option though.
