I'm running a really weird character build right now. I'm playing a dex and cha based Venomthought Vesk Armor Solarian. I've been enjoying violently exploding and ruining entire crowds of people.
One thing that's been driving me insane, though, is that Venomthought Vesk are described as rare psychic offspring of vesk. They get Charisma for one of their main ability scores, which makes them great for Witchwarpers. The thing that drives me nuts is that Witchwarpers aren't describes as being psychic as far as I can tell? and Venomthought Vesk don't even have the option of gaining Telepathy or Minor Telepathy as a trait.
So my options for becoming psychic are: bioware, probably, which feels unfulfilling narratively; or a feat. My feat options are:
Realty Glimmer, which gives me access to the Witch Warper spell list. 2 lv 0 spells and 1 lv 1 spell. Sounds great except TELEKINETIC MESSAGE ISN'T ON THEIR LIST FOR SOME REASON.
Minor Psychic Power, which will give me access to Telekinetic Message 3 times per day. WOW, I can send a minor psychic message 3 times a day. that's worth a whole feat.
I'm just really annoyed and I need to vent.
With the introduction of Reality Glimmer, Connection Inkling and Technomantic Dabbler, Stage Magic and Psychic Power feel like absolute garbage trap feats.
EDIT: Is there an implant or something I can get to get Telekinetic Message?

For 1600, you can get a mindlink circlet. Or, if you can wait a few levels and want it from not an item, consider the esper theme?

I've already got a theme I'm pretty deep into. I'm an Icon. My vesk is basically a magical girl. He's a popstar by day and a crime fighter... whenever he's not doing that, and sometimes when he is.
I guess I can get the circlet. that just feels really unfulfilling though.

The Phrenic Adept Archetype gives you a grab-bag of psychic abilities along with some late-game power and that telepathy you wanted, albeit at the expense of a fair few of your features. On the other hand, if you're okay with waiting until level 9, the Instinctive Metaphysicist is basically Brain Duels: The Archetype. Phrenic Adept seems to be more what you're going for, though I'm not sure if you want to wait until 8th for your first Revelation.
Unless... Would you be interested in the Church of the Forever Queen, [url=https://www.aonsrd.com/FeatDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Divine%20Blessing]Hylax[url]? Interesting choice for a Vesk pop star, but I guess so was being a pop star.

Rrgh, yeah, Phrenic Adept sounds like a particularly awful fit for Solarian. Instinctive Metaphysicist is neat sounding, but also confusing? Blur the Boundaries and Minscape Challenge read like they should be part of the same ability?
Hylax might be an interesting direction to go. My character is definitely into the idea of solving things non-violently, and he's not especially into Domoritosh's conquest thing... even though he routinely has to beat sense into his enemies.
I guess I'm worried burning an entire feat for limited telepathy isn't really a smart move though.
