I think I would use Witch as the base class and pursue Alchemist as a dedication.
Witches get spells and familiar benefits as they level and curses mostly seem to suck, so putting feats into an Alchemist dedication wouldn't bother me.
What spell list would you choose?
What order would you takes what feats in?

Elemental betrayal would work well with persistant and splash damage.

Here are my Alchemist MC tables. I thought you might find them useful. If you take the feats at later levels, just use the Advanced Alchemy Level at the bottom of the tables rather than the Character Level at the top.
