I figure I should probably pick one up in case I ever don't have time to run a homebrew campaign (I'm a player in Extinction Curse so I can't run that, Agents of Edgewatch and Age of Ashes don't interest me a whole lot). Converting is less work then a homebrew game, so I figure PF1 is a good source. Any advice for which one to get?

Whichever one looks most fun to run?
I recommend Carrion Crown, Strange Aeons, Ruins of Azlant, Shattered Star, or - if you want to get ambitious - Iron Gods.
There's also a Discord full of people doing conversions - come join and help out! Thread here, with a link to the server.

I've been converting Iron Gods in Fantasy Grounds for the last three days, and thus far it's been relatively easy to do. Biggest problem I've had is with treasure, but I've decided I'm throwing out everything except for the handful of tech items in the first adventure and placing new loot manually. I think it's going pretty well, on the whole.

My favorite PF1 APs are Kingmaker (obviously, but you don't need to do that since an official conversion is coming), Carrion Crown, Reign of Winter, Shattered Star, Hell's Rebels, and Tyrant's Grasp.
Hell's Rebels would probably be pretty straightforward to convert, and has the advantage that if you get tired of converting it part way through it's easy to shorten the campaign - it can easily end on book 3 or 4 instead of 6.

I'm going through pdfs for CotCT and adding text boxes with changes from this:
It's not perfect, but it's a good ballpark so far.
Rise of the Runelords, Curse of the Crimson Throne, Hell's Rebels are the most broadely well-regarded APs from 1e (Kingmaker too, but it's being converted, so is likely to feel fruitless once the official conversion is out).
Skulls & Shackles, Iron Gods, Reign of Winter and War for the Crown are also beloved, and spoken well of, but are much more specific themes and can be a bit divisive. (Small not that lots of Wrath of the Righteous is considered a good story with a weaker end, but is rarely rated highly because of rules issue specifics, something solved by just converting it and not trying making it mythic).

It's actually super easy to convert any AP. The only tedious part for me is I'm doing it in Fantasy Grounds. So I'm not just looking at a page and deciding to use certain stats out of the GMG. I'm actually having to input actual stats into a VTT. But even so, relatively relaxing work.

About to run a Second Darkness campaign because of the first edition sale (got all 6 books in print for $24 or something). Along with a thread on here it's been a boon. I know this AP catches a lot of flack but there are some really good bits in there and I think it will be easy to make quite fun, which is really all one can ask. Funny thing is I put Rise of the Runelords as well as Curse of the Crimson Throne up as options as well. RotR got 0 votes and the other split, so it came down to a die roll, SD won with the high roll of 13 on a d20.
Treasure is tricky though.
