Reroll for skill checks

I'm trying to figure out some ways for my Bard to get a reroll on a skill check in order to learn a spell. I have come across one such method, by using a Hero Point. Are there other good ways for me to get a reroll on that all important roll so I don't have to wait till the next level in order to try again.

Only Halfling Luck I believe, outside of that you will have to stack status bonus and item bonus, maybe even squeeze a circumstance bonus from a ally giving aid or finding a library, teacher or something like that.

Don't forget that Magical Shorthand can allow you to attempt it after a week instead of a full level. This may work depending on the campaign and if you can afford a week.
