We are currently playing The Fall of Plaguestone as an introduction to 2nd Edition.
My intention from the start has been to run an Adventure Path after that, so long as we have fun with the new system and can keep on a schedule.
I am seeing MANY similar themes and even encounters between it and, on a first reading, The Show Must Go On.
Have others noticed the same? What are your feelings on those?

Yes, I noticed that as well! I'm chalking some of the similarities up to there only being one Bestiary, thus limiting the available monsters by level. But what are the chances of having both a Fiery Leopard and a Smoldering Leopard?! Plus the overall theme of combating ecological decline.
Here's to hoping it diverges more later in the campaign...

I am apprehensive enough to want to tweak some of these things. Maybe Myron succumbs to rat bites, the Hermitage is devoted to Erastil instead, orchard replaced with another site.
Hm.

I'm doing my first read through of this right now while we are on the last 1/3 of Plaguestone. I caught the similarities as well in at least Chapter 1 so far (as far as I've gotten is the opening box text).
I might rethink how Thunder ultimately succumbs to something, maybe being ripped apart by something
