We need a lot more hexes per day, and a bigger variety of hexes known, and several ways to tweak the spell list to be more unique, like in PF1.

I certainly hope there's a frog-based hex or baleful polymorph access in the works.

I think access to Baleful Polymorph would be sufficient. After all, we really do need to cover witches who weigh less than a duck and turn people into newts rather than frogs.

Yeah, Baleful Polymorph as a Lesson's normal spell is perfectly sufficient, but it is a necessary thing to cover.

On a serious note - this is one thing about lessons I very much enjoy. The possibility to give a spell highly thematic of Witches to any Witch regardless of what casting tradition they choose.
