Assurance Athletics question

Rules Discussion

Would tripping or grabbing an enemy with Assurance contribute to my MAP? I know it doesn't take a penalty the actual ability, but would I suffer MAP if I used Assurance first and then attacked my enemy, would that attack be at -5? I'm aware attacking and then using assurance would be fine.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Yes. It still incurrs MAP. It just ignores it, but it doesn't not alter the Attack tag.

So starting with assured trip, will make the next hit -5/4

Thanks just one other thing, can a wild shaped druid use assurance Athletics in Dinosaur form say with a T-Rex or Stegosaurus for example?

Uh.. Bear in mind I haven't read anything about wild shaping.. But I assume wildshaping still lets you use feats...
so I assume you still could use assurance.

but might wait till someoen who actually knows druid stuff. I don't.
I'm an Alchemist centric player

Yes. Nothing in the Polymorph rules or the Dinosaur Form spell says you can't use skill feats.
