Whatever happened to Guaril Karela?

No idea.

May he rest in flaming pieces after that stunt he tried to pull on the plane of fire.

I just wondered. Most of the old faction leaders had some kind of big send off, or got written out of the setting in some way. Karela just disappeared.

He wasn’t technically a faction leader at the end of things. Al’Hakim was the leader of The Exchange. Though I don’t remember him getting a send off, either. I haven’t finished all of the Season 10 content yet, though.

Yeah, I can't remember how he was described in First Steps. I'll have to go back and look. I think he was just "Pathfinder adjacent" and not actually a Pathfinder. But then neither was Zarta to start off with, and now she leads a whole school. I can't remember who the other faction leader was that you work for in that scenario.

I used to love the Szcarni faction missions. They were usually opposed to every other faction's goals.

You would say that even if you knew, though.

He was the Sczarni faction head, but when they rolled into The Exchange, he took a secondary role. I would imagine he may show up again someday. The family is strong.

Edit: But no, he was never officially part of the society. Faction heads weren’t always actual society members.

Also offers his "Biz-niss card".

Oh, Uncle Guaril will be back, I am sure of it.

Heat just got a little much, and was interfering with his business activities.
