Yeah, I can't remember how he was described in First Steps. I'll have to go back and look. I think he was just "Pathfinder adjacent" and not actually a Pathfinder. But then neither was Zarta to start off with, and now she leads a whole school. I can't remember who the other faction leader was that you work for in that scenario.

He was the Sczarni faction head, but when they rolled into The Exchange, he took a secondary role. I would imagine he may show up again someday. The family is strong.
Edit: But no, he was never officially part of the society. Faction heads weren’t always actual society members.
