Simple question, can you select "Specific Archetypes Only" Aspects (e.g. the Cetus aspect from the Pelagic Hunter Archetype) using an Aspect Mask?
If not, why not?

My gut says no. It's "as if by the hunter’s animal focus class feature", not "as if by the pelagic hunter’s animal focus class feature".
Strictly speaking, those aren't on the animal focus list mentioned by the mask. They're on the pelagic focus list.
Would I allow a pelagic hunter to make an equivalent one? Yes, certainly. Would they necessarily be available to a PC in a random city? No, not without a bit of justification at least.
