Dampen presence feat and the sights and senses

For the feat of Dampen presence, which allows you to make stealth checks to avoid detection of opponents with blight sight/sense, does that also extend out or all the other senses/sights that reference blight sight as their functional basis such as lifesense?

I think you put this in the wrong forum. Isn't Dampen Presence still only a feat in 1st Edition?

Dampen Presence is first edition only.

But PF2 has a similar feat, Foil Senses.

But to answer the question, I would say no, that other senses that reference blind sight /blind sense for how they function are not necessarily defeated by Dampen Presence. They are similar but not the same, and reference blind sight to explain some basic of how they function.

But the most correct answer is to ask your GM.

The only catch is Lifesense has a line about "just as if it possessed the blindsight ability." I seem to recall however as Lifesense being something an incorporeal creature such as a Dread Wraith or Greater Shadow could use even when within the Total Cover of a wall to detect and locate living creatures in the adjoining room. And that clearly precludes it as related to normal vision in any way. I think the reference refers more to the fact in can be used to perceive creatures within 60ft without needing a Perception check.

Now if I could locate the text about Lifesense, Total Cover and wall hiding incorporeal Wraiths etc. rather than foggy memories.
