Starting New Subscription Question

Hey folks,

I am curious about how my new subscription works for items that are out "now".
I selected the 2E core book to start my rulebook PF subscription and the subscription shows that the Gamemastery Guide is the next title coming up for release. However, I would also like to get the Bestiary as part of the subscription as it seemed it was the title that followed the core book. How does that work?

My main concern is making sure I can get the bestiary hardback along with the PDF that subscription items come with. I hope this is clear.

The Bestiary is in your sidecart and will be shipped out along with your next subscription order. Do you prefer I get it on its way right away instead?

Thanks for the response Diego. I am still a little confused though.
Did you pop it into the sidecart by "hand"?

It shows it is going to be charged at full price without the Advantage discount.

And like the Bestiary on the rulebook subscription, the next Adventure Path subscription item listed that I have coming is #147 after I started on #145. Could you add #146 as a subscription item to the sidecart as well so I don't miss it?

This is all probably an automation problem with being able to select from two of the recent items in each of the subscriptions at the start.

As long as the discount and subscription PDF goes through for Bestiary and Path #146, I'm happy. They can all ship out on the next monthly date.

I have a similar question to Green. I signed up for a subscription and just received my CRB. I am interested in also getting the bestiary+PDF. I know the next shipment will be the GM guide+PDF which is great but I'm just a little unclear about the schedule. Will the Bestiary be shipped with that product or sometime between September-December? I think my best-case scenario would be to have the products spaced out a bit so if I could get the bestiary shipped sometime between now and the middle of December (with a preference of mid to late September) it would just be a little bit easier on the pocketbook (and easier to explain to my wife) then if I drop $100 on books all at once.

I'm also curious, if I get excited and buy a product before it can be shipped with the subscription such as buying the bestiary (which I haven't yet bought I'm just asking for my information) would you see that and hold that product or would you ship me a second one?

Thanks for creating such a great product though, I am loving the rule book!

Hello Green Goat,

I have also generated Adventure Path 146 to your sidecart. I believe the issue has to do with a sub starting at a time while we are shipping the next item. When you start a sub it immediately generates the starting item, usually to your sidecart. Then when we run the authorization it gets moved into an order. If a subscription is started after we have run the authorization but during our shipping window it generates that item directly into an order. I suspect what is happening is that when it does that it doesn't realize it also needs to generate the next item because the auth has already been done. I am asking the tech team to take a look and see if they can resolve the issue, whatever may be causing it.

I have applied the discount to the sidecarted items. The system is supposed to apply it when it moves the items to an order, but I don't always trust it as much as I could.

Hello Ridgerunner03,

I have generated the Bestiary to your sidecart. Items in a sidecart will live there until a subscription order is generated for them to ship with. So in this case the Bestiary would stay there until the Gamemastery Guide comes out. However, you can have items in your sidecart ship sooner by either contacting us and asking us to ship it right away, or by pushing the ship right away button on your sidecart (you can find the sidecart on your order history page, but only when something is in it). So if you decide you want the Bestiary to ship in November, at that time you can have it shipped out on its own.

When you go through the checkout process one of the shipping options will be "Ship with subscriptions". If you select this shipping option the item will be sent to your sidecart so it can ship out with the next available subscription order. Keep in mind that we don't charge for anything until it ships so items that go to your sidecart won't be paid for until they ship out (though you may see an authorization when you first submit them).

Hi Diego - I'm in exactly the same situation as Ridgerunner03 (started subscription with CRB on the assumption that Bestiary would follow). Can you please add it in to ship with the next scheduled shipment?
