Anything like Tremorsense, but sensing heat instead?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

So I’m trying to recreate Flame Princess from Adventure Time. The show is heavily D&D inspired, taking place on a post apocalypse earth where most humans are gone, and magical creatures inhabit the world. Flame Princess is a flame person, which are basically native fire elementals, and she is also the fire elemental (the four elementals are more like the Avatar from the last airbender, except instead of one for all elements, there is one of each element, and they each reincarnate).

Now this doesn’t matter much, just wanted to say where I was going with this. Now in one episode, Finn takes her dungeon crawling, but the first step is to find a dungeon, since most of them are hidden.

She skips the entire process of searching for a random mechanism to open a random dungeon by using heatsense. She was able to determine that a nearby tree was actually made of metal (since it was the only tree not radiating heat) thus instantly allowing them to investigate that specific tree to find the hidden mechanism to open the hidden dungeon nearby.

I was hoping there was some way for me to replicate this in Pathfinder.

Well two thoughts come to mind. First way back in 2E many of the creatures which are now said to have Dark Vision had "Infravision" and it was essentially thermal based vision (though even that was undergoing change throughout 2E). 2nd thought is you can't use Darkvision that way these days it's changed too much but you could give the creatures you want Thermal vision or Heat vision probably set to a base 60ft effective range to recreate the 2E version of Infravision and have it work as much as desired like modern real life thermal optics.
