Hi, im a level 8 wizard with a clockwork familiar (valet). The familiar section says that familiars class skills are climb, swim, stealth, fly and so on. The Valet archetype says the class skills are crafts, profecions and so on. Do they stack? Does a familiar increase in size because of the extra HD? what about skill points and feats as HD grows?

Clockwork familiars can’t take the valet archetype. Familiars don’t get extra HD, not generally grow in size.

Familiars get virtual HD so that certain spell effects based on HD don't insta-gib them, but not real HD with skill ranks etc.

The valet archetype replaces speak with animals of its kind. Clockwork familiars don't get that ability (like any other improved familiar) so can't replace it.
