I just realized how heavy 3E / PF's sling bullets are.

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

A pouch with 10 bullets weighs 5 pounds. A belt pouch is half a pound, so each PF bullet weighs over 7 ounces. A quick check of the internet shows Roman bullets were 1.7-2 ounces. I know D&D and PF have some crazy weapon weights (Made a bit better if one assumes they come with a solid wood sheath), but I think this the furthest off in percentage of correct weight.

Depends on the edition. The weights in PF & D&D 3.x are generally an improvement over AD&D encumbrance values. 25 lbs. for a greatsword (AD&D) is worse as a percentage, but IIRC you could use their coins (1.6 ounces each) as sling bullets. And PF2 bulk values, while not directly translatable to weights, can be mind-bogglingly weird if you think about them for five minutes.

But yeah, that may be the worst as a percentage in 3.P.

And if played at the PF "official" weight, they should do at least a d6 in damage as opposed to a d4.
