Enervation?

Rules Discussion

The Staff of Necromancy lists it as a spell it has available (page 595) but I can find the spell Enervation in the spell descriptions.

Am I missing it somewhere else or is the spell missing?

Cheers

The Enervated condition is gone, the succubus inflicts Drained, the wight inflicts Drained... I think that's just something they missed when they removed Enervated, personally.

Hopefully we'll get the spell in the GM guide or soon after. So many missing spells, Simulacrum, Displacement, etc. etc. :(

It's the downside of using "Copy + Paste". Sure, it saves the designers time and effort but the customers get a slipshod product.

My guess is simulacrum is coming back as a ritual if it comes back at all. The in-combat simulacrum shtick is pretty well covered by Duplicate Foe now.

It has been used as a plot point in at least one Paizo AP, so I hope it comes back.

According to the chart on the bottom of page 5 of the errata, this should be Vampiric Touch heightened to 4th level.
