Am I just missing it or is there no more Arcane Spell Failure in 2e?

There is none, but there's also no good way for a wizard to get armor proficiency.

You can take a general feat to get light armor which helps at low levels, then retain out of it when your proficiency for unarmored defense goes up at level 13.

You could also MC champion, but that doesn't fit for most concepts.

The Armor Proficiency feat can be taken multiple times, so you eventually can become trained with heavy armor if desired.

Rogue Dedication also grants Light Armor Proficiency and is much more widely thematically available than Champion.

Add on a General Feat or two to get to Medium or Heavy and a low Dex Wizard is much better off in armor than unarmored even once they hit Expert.

Thank you for this information!

Remember in the playtest when Fighter dedication gave armor proficiency?

Those were the days... :P

Are they? The moderate AC this gives is no security for a squishy wizard. The wizard is better off not being where the hits are, such as by mirror image, levitation and blur

We'll figure out how to build a Hellknight Signifier soon. It was a huge mess last time...

Well, obviously, but wearing armor stops you from doing none of those things. My point was a pure AC statement.
