Ascension 1 completed with Watcher. Unlocked a new card that seems interesting:
Alpha: 1 cost skill. Shuffles a Beta into your draw pile.
Beta: 2 cost skill. Shuffles an Omega into your draw pile.
Omega: 3 cost power. At the end of your turn, deal 50 damage to all enemies.
Probably super-rare, and takes three turns (and 6 total energy) to play, but damn that's good.

Just beat Ascension 3 with the Watcher. I actually got the Alpha card that I just described above. Combined that with a bunch of Like Water cards (they give block if you are in the Calm stance) and basically just got all the block while the Omega did the work. It did help that I found the Ice Cream relic about halfway through the first level.

Yeah apparently us console players have to wait a little bit longer for the expansion. :(
I am no 10, 9, 18. trying to get silent to 10 is awful. I almost hit 19 with defect but I just ran out of gas on the second donut.

He mentioned on FaWtL that a janitor from the other garage came over and unlocked it, and then the first guard came back with the keys. Eventually.

Ah good. Then you knee cap him as a reminder for next time.

Got to love the people that book through 3rd parties without realizing it. "So it looks like here you booked through 3rd party hotel place so they will send you a receipt"
"what no I booked through the website."
"yes well you booked through A website not ours tho."
"well I just googled..."
"yes that is how that works"

STS: Finally beat 9 with silent. The deck was so janky I grabbed the relic that changes your strikes and defend to random cards. I got the one where you discard a card and get 2 energy, then I got the ice cream cone. so At the end of the turn I always used that card and boom 2 extra energy next turn. Worked out surprisingly well. I think I beat the last boss which was the blue cat thing with a 10 energy x times 10 card. with envenom and the artifact that adds extra poison. It was all over the place but it worked.
Tried defect 18. First mini boss slaughtered me. Their damage is crazy now.

Silent is a royal pain in the arse for me, not that I've had much time to do STS much. Climbing loads.

Watcher has a fun card called "Judgement". It says "If target enemy has 30 or fewer hit points, set its hit points to 0". So it's an instant kill for anything with 30 or fewer hp. And it only costs 1 to play. Upgrade it and it kills anything with 40 or fewer hp. I like it.
Good for mooks, and especially after you spammed some AE skill to drop things below 40. Also that stoopid armored eye that has tons of armor but minimal hp.

That boss is the awakened one. Kill his first form before doing any powers else he'll gain strength.

Got steak and shake this morning because the Frisco melt is my Jam.
They had an option for apple sauce instead of those nasty shoe string fries. They gave me one of those little plastic cups. I'm not saying it was bad but man I could run a restaurant out of the back of my house and make money to if I start buying those little packs of apple sauce and selling them for 1.60 each too. I kind of wonder if they are another one of those restaurants that are on their way out. I hope not unless they start making a bottle frisco sauce that I can purchase at the store. Then I'd be alright.

STS: Beat 18 defect
*salutes Vidmaster7*
What was your final deck run up like? On the eve we'll go to Gardens by the bay to see the flowers, then after steam boat at night head to River hongbao. I'm hoping on Chinese New Years eve people are too busy with steamboat and mahjong later to crowd the area.

The big theings that helped me win was the lighting for every power and draw two card when I played a power a bunch of 0 cost cards and basically it was a power deck that I just lucked out and was able to throw together early. A lot of healing relics too. Then it was just spam lighting and play the 3 costs more lighting card and that pretty well did it.

How did you keep up with defences? Sure lightning decks are bloody fun, but the issue is I find at higher ascension Frost claw works better because otherwise things hit so hard you die horribly.

0 Cost steam vents mostly did it and the occasional ice orb. Normally steam vents wouldn't be great but I killed things so fast it worked out fine. I also had 2 of the prevent damage from next attack cards in my deck as well.
