I'm not 100% sure when this started, but it seems to me that whenever I visit a thread I've visited previously it takes me to the top of the final page, rather than to the first unread post (though the number of new posts is tracking correctly).
It's likely most of these have been from the 2nd edition subform in recent days.

It happened to me too in the few months after that relaunch, but it got better. I haven’t seen it for the last several months and had assumed it had been fixed. However, I believe there was a big hardware upgrade (or something?) a couple of weeks back.
I wondered if that had undone some patch, or maybe if it was the new PF2 forum playing up.
I've also had the problem since the new site launched. The one area where it doesn't happen is in PBP threads. Not sure what the difference is...

I have that problem, but only with comment threads underneath product descriptions.

It happens for me intermittently if I click the (# new) link. Though I don't always end up at the top of the page, sometimes its in the middle of the page somewhere. Hardly ever the most recent new post. I've started just clicking the time of the post link instead to get to the last post, then scrolling back to find where I ended.
Happening for me on blog threads.
