Most Common Creatures

Advice

Liberty's Edge

One of my players asked me, "What are the most common creatures in Starfinder?" and I quickly realized I was at a blank. For anyone who has read all the way through AA, AA2, and campaign modules, is there any creature(s) that specifies they're more common than others?

The security robots from AA1 are probably the most common enemies. After that you see a lot of undead (cyber-zombies, particularly). Space goblins are pretty typical for low-level adventurers.

Like what species is most prevalent?

Or what kind of enemies are you most likely to encounter?

The most common creatures will be the core races.

Most common enemies...that will depend on what campaign you play.

Yeah, that will depend a lot on where in the galaxy you are.

I personally think it would be bureaucrats.

I'd say space goblins are actually much rarer than Pathfinder 1e goblins in comparison <_<

Like, because its space game, it obviously matters on the AP. But in pact worlds its the core races, otherwise its planet dependent.

It depends on the planet, but, overall, robots.

I'd say robots followed by undead, if you don't consider ghouls of different races different.

Then the 'swarm', probably the most populous entity in the galaxy, but made of all sorts of subraces.

After that? Probably humans. Azlanti humans specifically, with vesk a close second, they are the only races with large numbers of planets they have conquered and colonized and settled with just themselves.

Unless there are others yet to be discovered in the vast.

There are usually about 100 billion stars in a galaxy. There are potentially hundreds of Azlanti style empires out there.

Azlanti make up a small percentage of the population of their empire.
