Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone could give me some guidance on a particular character that I am building and I'm not too sure that I understand how this healing thing works. I don't want to break the rules but I am looking at trying to be the best healer that a healer can be. :)
Anyway, I'm looking at creating an Aasimar Oracle of Life who has The traits "Rescued (Koya)" which states that it gives a +2 trait bonus on cure spells and "Blessed touch" which allows me to heal one additional point of damage. The Blessed touch seems pretty straight forward but does the Rescued trait heal damage as well? If not, what does the +2 trait bonus add too? So, I was wondering, If casting cure light wounds would the over all modifiers be 1d8+1 for the spell, +1 from the Blessed Touch making it 1d8+2? Or is it 1d8+3 with Blessed Touch and the Rescued trait? Also, can the additional modifiers increase the spell beyond the 1d8+5 cap limit of the spell? Any and all comments are welcome, thank you for your help. Thank you

Note that Rescued is a campaign trait for Jade Regent, and thus only allowed in that campaign (if the GM decides to use campaign traits, in which case you have to take one).
^This.
Campaign Traits tend to be very closely intertwined with that specific campaign story and generally shouldn't be used outside of that specific campaign.
Your GM can decide to allow it, of course, but it's generally not recommended (unless, of course, you are playing Jade Regent)...
