I pick gremlins as they are SO weak and pathetic yet at the same time so evil and petty. They're kind like the incels of Pathfinder.
Sorry I meant what's your favorite low level monster. Can someone fix?

Goblins.
Goblins will happily torture your dog and horse to death, force you to watch while they eat your children, and burn your home to the ground while cackling like maniacs. All for no other reason than they saw that you had a barrel full of pickles, and they want to take it. We might love goblins because they're Pathfinder's mascots, but if they were real, they would be feared, hated, and hunted down like the homicidal vermin they are.

(for their Unluck Aura Su. 20')
Have them roll with some CR 1 Gnolls
(Gnolls are immune to Unluck Aura)
^Just realized that Pugwampi's Unluck Aura not only doesn't work on Gnolls, but also not on Animals. So, let's hear it for Animals! . . . Which D&D 3.x/PF doesn't give enough credit to anyway.
Favorite low level monster would be velociraptors. Yay for fluffy death chickens.

Gnolls, Hyenas, Pugwampi Gremlins (riding the Hyenas)...
My favorite low level encounter.
You can really have fun with ranged combat while mounted, as the wee Pugwampi, riding Hyenas.
And perhaps make a gnoll with a weapon requiring a save that will be caught in the Unluck Aura, OR make a gnoll mage that requires a save that will be caught in the Unluck Aura...
The mounted/ranged Pugwampi combat helps action economy with these low level encounters. Hyenas are plenty capable in their own right.
Gnolls need the Unluck Aura, AND the distraction by the Hyenas to be a legitimate threat, ever.
All together, Gnolls and Hyenas with Pugwampi Gremlin riders is the best low level encounter I have come up with.
Sometimes I use the Flind interchangeably with the Gnolls...
OH. I've always liked the forlarren due to how they don't WANT to be evil, but just can seem to help it due to being part fiend (indeed, originally they were just Neutral with Evil tendencies rather than NE, not sure why they changed it). I like the idea of Good PCs trying to help one actually turn good for real though I'm not sure how it would work.

+1 for goblins. Paizo developed them from being just another humanoid between kobolds and orcs on the HD ladder into something with genuinely unique personality and style...and then spoiled it by making them a PC race in PF2. Not IMC, though. Never IMC.
