Giant sorcerer build

Advice

I'm usually not one to ask for advice on a build, but I'm having a hard time with this one and I'm starting to think I'm kidding myself on getting what I want to work.

I'd like to make a shapeshifter sorcerer that mainly fights by enlarging/enhancing himself and eventually giant forming himself. I'd really like to be able to use whirlwind attack with a reach weapon as early as possible, and I would eventually like access to those crazy 9th level spells.

Would the best thing to do be starting sorcerer, taking a level in fighter, then enough sorcerer levels to go into eldritch knight? The main shapeshifter bloodline powers I want are the first two, improving natural attacks and the huge duration increase on transmutation spells.

The problem is I need so many stats. Min. 13 int, min 13 dex just to get whirlwind attack. Then I'll need high Charisma for spells, high strength to hit, aaand constitution since I won't have many hit points. Considering this I'm starting to think I can't do what I'm hoping, which is pretty sad. Anyone help me out?

I think dirty fighting dodges the int. Unfortunately many of the spells that make you big will decrease your dex, turning off whirlwind.

As for the stat prerequisites, you could take a level of Swashbuckler/Daring Champion Cavalier/Virtuous Bravo Paladin to use Charisma instead of Intelligence for combat feats.
If you then took Artful Dodge instead of Dodge, you'd be able to use Charisma for both Intelligence and Dexterity prerequisites.

You beautiful person. Thank you!! So I need only concentrate on strength, charisma, and constitution. And a dip in swashbuckler gets me the martial weapon proficiency I need for Eldritch Knight!

Dark Archive

I would suggest the eldritch scrapper archetype. It would help with feats, as martial sorcers tend to be feat starved. And to help offset con, many take false life to get temp hp to raise their low hp total.

Silver Crusade

A PC can get Whirlwind Attack at 5th level, same as a Fighter. However, your 5th level class must be some class that grants a bonus feat at that level. This is because of the prerequisites.

ANY class can get Whirlwind Attack at 5th level, plus one extra feat, by going

Fighter-1, Yourclass-3, Fighter-2

If you can eschew the extra feat, it can be just

Yourclass-4, Fighter-1
