Tomorrow on November 7th from 6–8 pm PST (I believe that's Nov 8, 02:00–04:00 UTC), Tonya Woldridge and I will be on the Know Direction podcast discussing the future of Pathfinder Society, such as the end of Season 10 and how the Second Edition campaign is shaping up. Although we'll no doubt highlight some information that we've also covered in blog, we also expect to cover new ground, dig down on some topics, and take questions.
We look forward to having you join us! You'll be able to watch us live on Twitch.

Oh, thanks for telling us! Will it be right after Starfinder Wednesday on Twitch?
Hmm
As I understand it, this will be hosted through Know Direction's Twitch channel, not Paizo's. However, Paizo's Wednesday events begin at 4 pm and don't typically last longer than 2 hours, so you should be able to tune into Paizo's Twitch channel earlier and still make it to the Know Direction program without trouble.

An excellent interview! I appreciate how open you both are about what you're thinking, and what's possible and not possible for the future.
One thing that was news to me was that the society playtest scenarios can still be run until July next year. I've had "end-of-year" drummed into my head for the end of the playtest period, but it makes sense that we'll still have more time to play the society scenarios (and earn those playtest points) until we start gearing up for the launch of the new season/edition/campaign/chapter.

I'm really looking forward to it. If I'm going out, I'm going out with a bloody bang where I say "Oh my gosh, we did that!"
I think the palceholder name of The Grinder (and John's hyperbolic descriptions of mass death and character sheets torn up) have really put the messaging off on this special. A lot of people seem to be taking it as if the OP team is gleefully looking forward to destroying all our beloved characters instead of as an epic, possibly bittersweet, blaze of glory that is necessary to help the Society survive.
Maybe it's because I've heard John talk enough to know when he's making silly exaggerations and tangents to amuse himself.

Yeah, it is really sad that other people aren't picking up on this.

I’m choosing to believe that the hyperbole is warn8ng people like me away. I have heard a John say that he has to be careful about setting expectations after the “Year of the Adamantine Greatsword” mistake.

Season 6 was interesting. I'd say Season 4 was more deadly. Still, it is clear that they don't want to kill your character but give players an option if things get too deadly. No problem - I've got a whole pile of bards created... =(:o) ♬♪♩ *aaaaghh!* *pop* =(:o) ♬♪♩ *urrrgkkk!* ... the music of a valiant bard defence...

First thing I thought of when I listed to the interview as well.
